Thank you to all those who came together to make this possible - artists, musicians and bidders - from our East Van community and beyond!

I plan to keep this blog open to keep everyone updated on my progress and any possible need of further support. This is just the beginning! There is much more to be done. I hope to make my case available to top researchers and specialists in the field. There is so much that we don't know about the causes of Scoliosis and its far-reaching effects.

Another insanely HUGE THANK YOU to all artists, poets, musicians, clowns, bidders, and all those who donated their time and talent towards making the fundraiser a success!

We made ALL monies needed for the brace itself, and will continue with this ONLINE art auction until the END of September! Please continue bidding for amazing art! More is coming in!

Any additional funds we raise from the rest of the auction will be put towards all expenses associated with getting to, seeing, and following up with doctors either in Montreal and/or Victoria. The cost of the brace alone doesn't cover appointments or assessments.

Our fundraiser event is tonight!

There will be a one-night-only "offline" bidding opportunity for those attending the event. So, for 24hrs, we are disabling all online bidding, so you will not be able to comment on the art as before.

For those who have bid on pieces, keep in mind that you may be out-bid on paper during the event. These changes will then be updated online when bidding resumes.

A word from the artist: "I worked up North in Nunavut for months and months during the winter time; this fishing rig seemed to have been abandoned in the bay that had frozen over in the earlier months. A blizzard was starting and I almost lost a few fingers trying to get this shot."
